What better way to start the year than immersing myself in the world of Restaurant Photography!
Date: Saturday 13th January
Host: Kera Wong
Location: KURO Bar & Dining || 368 Kent Street, Sydney.
“Where Japanese precision meets Australian produce.”
Kera has such an amazing eye for storytelling, it helps you to start to see the story behind the food. It outlines the collaboration between the talented chef, Taka Teramoto, and the amazing photographer, Kera Wong, and the way their creative visions come to life. Perfectly framed and captured in that final image.
We captured motion and froze it at the same time. Its all about the finer details, making the droplets visible capturing details and texture is where the magic is. We learnt the importance of light and its positioning along with the power of macro, getting up-close.
It was powerful, moving and the food was delicious. Yes that’s right, we got to eat the food too!
